Tigger's Page

Hi! I'm Tigger. That's T-I-double-guh-er!

I'm very happy you came to visit my first Web page! Don't forget to visit my buddy-o Whiskers' page.

I recently had a reporter interview me for this Web page (because my paws don't type too good on a computer), and here is what I told him:

Q: How old are you?

A: I turned one this year, even though my darn mom forgot my birthday! Whiskers got carrots and a card for his birthday, but no one remembered me!

Q: Who are your buddies?

A: Well, Whiskers, of course! And also Bob Fellbear and Lou Beardreau. Those are buddies that Vinnie and my darn mom made at the Build-A-Bear Shop. I also hang out with all the other buddies from the Hundred Acre Wood.

Q: What are your favorite foods?

A: Whiskers got me into carrots. But I also like popcorn, ice cream, M&Ms (the orange ones, of course), Grandpa Norman's Expansion Dawgs, and Cheetos (because they're orange!). Aunt Kelly gives us peanuts when we go to Indians games, and I get to sit on her lap, too.

Q: I see you have on a baseball uniform. What's all that about?

A: I'm baseball Tigger! I play on the Hundred Acre Wood team, the Bee Stompers. Pooh is our captain. And the uniform helps when we go to baseball parks. Then the ushers don't question what a Tigger is doing at a baseball park.

Q: Are you any good?

A: Well, I'm getting better. Sometimes when I'm bouncing to first base, I bounce too hard and I miss the base!

Q: Who is your favorite baseball team?

A: The Detroit Tiggers, of course! Whiskers and I went to the Tigger Park in Detroit this year to see them play the Indians. And the Tiggers won! They must've known I was there.

Q: What else do you like?

A: Choo-choos! Whiskers and I are going to have a choo-choo in our bedroom when Vinnie and darn mom get married. We went to the Lionel visitor center this year and saw all the choo-choos in there. Whiskers and I picked one out that we like. And I like to bounce. Bouncing is what Tiggers do best, you know! I also like to go for rides on Vinnie's robot dog, Tekno. He's just the right size for me!

Q: There was a movie about Tiggers recently. Tell us about that.

A: Yes, "The Tigger Movie"! It's about time those people at Disney made us the star of a movie! Everyone knows that Tiggers are the reason people watched all of those Winnie-The-Pooh movies, anyway. It took some hard bouncing with Mr. Eisner to convince him to make Tiggers the star, but after he saw all the adventures we have, he agreed to give a Tigger top billing in a movie.

Q: What do you think about your mom?

A: Boy, she really is a darn mom! We never get carrots when Whiskers and I are at Table 1. The service there stinks! I don't know why they don't fire that waitress. The service at Table 2 is much better. And mom needs to learn more about baseball. She doesn't know a lot. I think she needs to read the books Vinnie bought for her.
